Why we recommend it
Direct drive means the wheel is mounted straight onto the motor, with no gears or belts in between. What you feel is what the game sends, so kerbs, surface changes and the moment grip goes are all sharper and arrive sooner. Four newton metres is entry-level torque by direct drive standards but roughly double what a G920 manages, and more importantly it's smooth rather than notchy. PXN's software and support are not on Logitech's level, which is the honest trade for the price.
Buying advice
Direct drive needs a stiff mount to be worth having. If your plan is to clamp it to a desk, buy a G920 instead and put the difference into a rig. On a proper stand, this is the biggest single jump in feel you can buy at this price.
