Buying advice
The single most useful tip: do not plug it directly into a USB 3 port on the machine. The interference wrecks the Zigbee range and it is the most common complaint. Use the cheap USB extension cable and put the stick a foot away from the computer. If nobody in the house wants to maintain software, buy the Aqara M3 instead and accept the trade.
