This policy explains how we research products, how we rank them, and how we keep our guides independent and useful.

Independence first

Our recommendations are based on merit, not on commercial relationships. Affiliate commissions never buy a place in our rankings and never change a verdict. We do not accept payment for placement or for favourable reviews.

How we research

For each niche, we gather objective data on the leading products, including specifications, availability, and how they compare on the features that matter for that category. We combine that data with hands-on reasoning to reach a verdict, and we describe who each product is, and is not, a good fit for.

How we rank

Each guide presents a ranking of ten products per store. We establish the baseline ranking on the reference marketplace and then, for each Amazon store, substitute any product that is not available there with the best equivalent alternative, ensuring that readers in every country see ten relevant options they can actually buy.

Accuracy and updates

Products, prices and availability change constantly. We show when each page was last verified and review our guides regularly. If you spot something that is out of date or incorrect, we want to know.
