Capacity is a tie, so ignore it

1070 Wh against 1024 Wh is a 4% difference. In practice that's a few extra minutes on a fridge, and it should not decide your purchase.

What separates these two is what they can push out at once, not how much they hold. A power station with a big battery and a small inverter is like a full fuel tank in a small engine: plenty of range, not much pulling power.

The 1500 W ceiling is the real decision

The Jackery tops out at 1500 W of continuous AC output. That runs a laptop, lights, a router, a CPAP machine, a small fridge and most of what people actually plug in during a blackout.

It won't run a 1800 W kettle, a full-size microwave or a circular saw. The Anker's 2000 W continuous, with 3000 W of peak headroom for the surge when a motor starts, will.

So the question isn't which is better. It's whether there's anything in your house above 1500 W that you'd want working when the power is out.

LiFePO4 is the quiet advantage

The Anker uses lithium iron phosphate cells. Compared with the older lithium chemistries, they take far more charge cycles before losing capacity and they're less temperamental about heat.

For a unit that mostly sits in a cupboard waiting for a blackout, that's not exciting. For one you cycle every weekend in a van, it's the difference between a few years and quite a lot longer.

Recharge speed matters more than it sounds

Forty-nine minutes to full is a genuinely useful number. It means you can top up during a lunch stop, or grab a full charge in the window between two outages.

The Jackery's roughly one hour is close enough that this shouldn't swing your decision on its own, but it's one more column where the Anker edges ahead.

For home backup, the Anker SOLIX C1000. The extra output and the LiFePO4 cells are exactly what you want in something bought for emergencies and kept for years.
